Board Of Directors

Our Board is made up of a diverse group of men and women that have all had a background of service to Country and Community. We believe it is vital to have “walked in the shoes of others” to truly understand the needs of an individual or group of people that have served a greater purpose. Each of our Board Members have served in a branch of the military, worked as a first responder, or both.

Chris Macellaro - President

Chris is a U.S Army Veteran and former Volunteer Firefighter. Chris was one of the original co-creators of THEYGOTYOUR6.org founded in 2016. Today, he serves as the Foundation’s President. HEBREWS 6:10 - “God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.” He believes that continually serving others is a form of expressing his faith in and to God.

Jim Bailey - Board Of Directors / Vice President / Treasurer

Jim grew up in the Dallas area, and is currently living in Mineola, TX. Jim served this Country as a Staff Sergeant in the USMC during Viet Nam. Jim is proud to say he is a Marine, and a Viet Nam Veteran. Over his career, he has been very busy, and remains active with community work. In addition to serving on our board, Jim has held and continues to hold some big assignments: Richardson PD, Commissioner Richardson Parks & Recreation, Alba VFD, Mineola Chamber of Commerce, Marine Corps League, VFW, American Legion, Mineola Rotary Club, Mineola Mini-Train Engineer.

Erin Mason - Board of Directors / Public Relations Officer

Erin was enlisted in the United States Navy spending her time on the flight deck of aircraft carriers working on fighter jets. After her time in the service, she worked on her education and aviation career while spreading awareness to mental health. With her husband being from East Texas, they chose this beautiful community to raise their family and greenhouses.

Tyler Brown - Board of Directors / Operations Officer

Tyler has spent his life feeding people both in the US Army and the civilian world. After moving his family to Wood County in 2021, Tyler has jumped into the community head first opening a business in Mineola and striving to serve the community with great food. Tyler brings his passion for services from the kitchen to the Veteran and First Responder community. His firm belief is that of Colossians 3:23, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord".
